Purchase of the Silhouette Connect® plug-in does not include the Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDRAW® software. Proper installation of the plug-in requires Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDRAW® to be installed on the computer before installing Connect. To start Corel CONNECT, do one of the following: To start Corel CONNECT as a the standalone utility, click the Corel CONNECT tile on your desktop (Windows 8), or on the Windows taskbar, click Start > All Programs > CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 > Corel CONNECT X7 (Windows 7). Power on the cutting machine and connect it to your computer by USB.

There are two ways to connect your Silhouette CAMEO 4 to your Silhouette software - by USB and Bluetooth. Once installed, the Silhouette Connect® plug-in is accessed inside the Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDRAW® programs. Silhouette CAMEO 4 Won't Connect in Silhouette Studio Ensure you have updated your software to Silhouette Studio V4.3 or higher. The license allows the user to utilize the plug-in on up to three different computers. The Silhouette Connect® plug-in license key is offered at a cost of $39.99.

The Silhouette Connect® plug-in allows users to send projects to the Silhouette electronic cutting tool directly from Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDRAW® and includes the ability to add registration marks for “print & cut” jobs that work with the Silhouette machine’s registration mark sensor. Plug-in Silhouette Connect works with: original Adobe Illustrator CS4-CS6, CC, CC2014, CC2015, CC2017 (doesn't work with illegal version) original CorelDraw X4 X (doesn't work with CorelDraw: Special Edition, Home & Student and illegal version.
